The a double room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was lovely romantic and well decorated with the most comfortable king size bed. The breakfast was incredible, overall food was great. The staff were personable and affable and the location was UNBEATABLE in a quiet neighborhood.

The decorations at the inn were simply exquisite, reminiscent of a time when elegance and charm reigned supreme. the general areas were well-appointed, offering a sense of tranquility and comfort for us seniors. Additionally, the easy accessibility throughout the property made it a delightful stay for older guests like myself.
I wished the children working there were more visible for a warm welcome.

Our room had the most comfortable king-size bed. the location was perfect, close to shops, downtown Washington, and the riverfront. Additionally, the hotel was just a 5-minute drive from Arts of Pamlico.

The setting was good, just off restaurants, the river walk, and library. I booked a room with a comfy bed, climate control, coffee/tea makers, and a seating area. Thank you very much for a very relaxing stay, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Original and sophisticated, the Gardener is perfect for gatherings. the Washington Crab Shack serves the best local seafood. Goose Creek State Park is ideal for outdoor activities. Elmwood offers cozy accommodations. the Bank Bar and Bistro is a great dining option. Luxurious amenities are a plus.
Not a fan of the lack of a TV in the room.
